Associational Mission Opportunities

First Responder AppreciationTwo ways to help:
1.) This year round collection of small stuffed animals will be given to First Responders to hand out in emergencies. Donations may be dropped off at any Associational WMU Event or at the South Central Baptist Association Office. 2.) Churches, WMU Groups, or Individuals may adopt one or more First Responder Locations (Police, Fire, Volunteer Fire, or Ambulance near you). SCBA will provide appreciation bags for you to deliver to your adopted location. We encourage you to pray for your location and consider providing a meal or gift certificates along with the appreciation bags. Please choose your First Responder Location and report it to the Associational WMU Director or SCBA Ministry Assistant before September. Appreciation bags will be available for pick up at the SCBA Annual Meeting in October. Totes and tarpsThis year round collection of totes and tarps will be used in future disaster relief efforts. Donations may be dropped off at any Associational WMU Event or at the South Central Baptist Association Office.
Used Sunday School Literature CollectionThis is a year round collection of used Sunday School Materials. These materials are given to the Ozark County Sheltered Workshop to be recycled. Materials may be dropped off at the South Central Baptist Association Office.

Resources Available on loan
Multiple WMU Resources are available for loan at the SCBA Office, such as WMU History books, books about missionaries, Mission Mosaic magazines and more. Stop by the Office, located at 1126 W. Cass Avenue, West Plains, during business hours to browse and check out books.

Mary O. Bidstrup Scholarship
